Carbon crystalline tint

window tint 5 %

When it comes to window tinting, the different shades of tint are expressed as a percentage. The darkest shade of tint available is 5%, meaning only 5% of light is able to pass through. 5% window tint is commonly found on limousines, hence its popularized name, limo tint.

Window Tint 20 %

The second darkest shade, and most popular tinting percentage for back windows in vehicles, is 20%. This percentage offers an excellent level of privacy, and adds an attractive element of style to your windows. With regards to window tinting Ontario law states that the front windows in vehicles can only be as dark as 30% tint; however, 20% tint often passes undetected, as it is a bit of a grey area (pun intended).

Window tint 30 %

One of the most popular tint levels for cars for people who wish to abide by the window tint laws in Ontario is 30%. This shade is often installed in the front with 20% in rear vehicle windows. Applying two different window tinting percentages on cars front and rear windows is called a 2/3 split.

Black Ceramic Tint

The most premium type of tint available on the market today, ceramic tints are available in 5%, 20%, 32% and 43% shades. The key difference is that ceramic tints block 60% more heat from entering your vehicle! The secret is in the science of the nano-ceramic particles in the film which block UVA & UVB light up to 99.9%. This makes ceramic tint a popular choice when it comes to energy savings and comfort. Ceramic Clear Tint

Specially designed as windshield tint, ceramic tint is great for regulating the ideal temperature in the cabin of your vehicle. As the windshield is the largest piece of glass on most vehicles, a ceramic coating can block great deal of excess heat from entering the cabin. Also, a ceramic coating on your windshield will help prevent discolouration of your dash and interior by blocking 99.9% of UVA and UVB rays, improving resale value!
