Windshield Tint, what is legal?
Tinting the windshield of your car doesn’t have to be a dangerous and taboo thing.
In Ontario, you’re allowed to have a 70% windshield tint total VLT, and what that means, is so long as the windshield is clear- it is acceptable.
This is a windshield that has a 70% tint on it, and as you can see - its not dark at all.
So, what’s the point of tinting it?
70% Clear Nano-Ceramic Window Tint pictured above
The point is, your windshield is a major contributor to heating up your cars interior, fading your dash, and burning your skin.
When you use a clear ceramic windshield tint as a barrier from the sun, you stand a much better defense against skin cancer, and the discomfort of an overly warm vehicle.
These films provide better colour enhancement by reducing glare on the road. They block 99% of UVA and UVB rays and 65%> of IRR (Infrared Reduction).
Did you know that Window tint is approved by the Skin Cancer Foundation? It’s one of the least costly solutions to protect yourself from the sun.
By adding clear ceramic window tint to your windshield, you effectively cover the entire vehicle with 99% UV blocking, 25-93% of IRR, and you protect the interior of your vehicle from fading and excessive heat gain.
THIS is WHY everyone is asking us to tint their windshields in Clear and LEGAL windshield tint.
